Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Apple ID (user identifier, name, email if shared)
• Photos and videos you upload for AI transformations
• Style preferences and prompts you select for image generation
• Device identifier (anonymized, for fraud prevention)
• Usage data (feature interactions, generation counts)

Face Data and AI Processing

Some features of Meely (such as face swap and portrait transformation) allow you to upload photos that may contain facial images. These photos are transmitted to third-party AI processing services solely to perform the visual transformation you requested.

• Face data is not collected, stored, or retained by Meely after processing is complete.
• Uploaded photos are processed transiently and discarded immediately after the transformation is delivered.
• Face data is not used for facial recognition, biometric profiling, or identification purposes.
• Third-party AI service providers process your photos only to complete the requested transformation and do not retain face data after processing.

Third-Party AI Services

When you use AI transformation features, your uploaded photos and selected style preferences are sent to third-party AI processing services to perform the transformation. The following third-party AI models and services are used:

Image generation:

• Flux (by Black Forest Labs) — image generation and style transfer
• Seedream (by ByteDance/Seed) — image generation and transformation
• Nano Banana — image processing and enhancement
• Grok (by xAI) — illustrative image generation
• GPT / DALL-E (by OpenAI) — image generation

Video generation:

• Kling (by Kuaishou) — AI video generation
• Veo (by Google DeepMind) — AI video generation

These providers:

• Process your photos only to complete the requested transformation.
• Do not retain, store, or use your images after processing is complete.
• Do not use your data for training AI models or any other purpose.
• Receive data via encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
• Are required to maintain data protection standards equivalent to those described in this policy.

Before any data is sent to these services, the app will ask for your explicit consent. You may decline, in which case no data will be transmitted and the AI feature will not be used.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account and maintain your session
• To process AI-powered image and video transformations
• To manage your credit balance and subscription status
• To improve app performance and fix bugs

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Your data is shared only with the third-party AI services listed above, solely for the purpose of processing your requested transformations.

Data Retention

Uploaded photos and face data are not retained after processing. Account data (user ID, credit balance, subscription status) is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

Children's Privacy

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 16.
